Good day Human!!!!!

I have been to Pantip and heard about the world's first hard drive with a total capacity of 1 terabyte (1TB). It came to my curiosity—  how much space is that and what is a terabyte? — After surfing the Internet, I finally know it.

Check your hard drive out!!!

How much space is your hard drive?

Just let you know. When I first bought Computer, I took just 20 GB HD – thinking that it’s enough space to store just the data and mp3. What I thought was wrong, I bought another one; it’s about 80 GB, and you know; now I’m using 320 GB HD.

Well.....to help you understand more what is a Terabyte and how much data can be stored on it?

The terabyte HD can store about 250 DVD movies or about 300,000 digital photographs at highest quality or about a million E-books or about 250,000 mp3 songs.

Now......you can imagine how much space the high-capacity 1,000 GB (1TB) hard drive on a single hard drive is? Then......what would you store if you could afford the terabyte of hard disk space? ......go buy it one.

oh....it's Hitachi for sure......

Here is the further information if you wanna fill it up your tera-brain space, I have converted it as below. (hope it’s correct)

The bigger is the better.

1 meg = 1,000 kilo

1 gig  = 1,000 meg = 1,000,000 kilo

1 tera = 1,000 gig = 1,000,000,000 kilo

1 peta = 1,000 tera = 1,000,000,000,000 kilo

..........however, for something, the smaller is the better.

1 centimeter = 10 millimeter (0.1 cent)

1 centimeter = 100 micrometer (0.01 cent)

1 centimeter = 1,000 nanometer (0.001 cent)

1 centimeter = 10,000 picometer (0.0001 cent)

......and
1 meter = 100 centimeter

1 meter = 1,000 millimeter

1 meter = 10,000 micrometer

1 meter = 100,000 nanometer

Have a nice day.
